MEET MIKE FOLEY
PROUDLY SERVING THE RESIDENTS OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Mike Foley serves as the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts, having been elected to the position in 2018. In his role as Clerk, Foley oversees an office of just over 100 employees and an annual budget of more than $15 million.
Prior to his election as Clerk of Courts, Foley served as an Ohio Deputy Registrar for 12 years. In that role, he was charged with operating the regional Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Huber Heights, Ohio.
A native of Cincinnati, Foley moved to the Dayton area in 1996 to embark on an entrepreneurial path that saw him work in restaurant franchise management, including the launch and operation of the initial First Watch restaurants in Montgomery County.

Prior to serving as Clerk of Courts, Deputy Registrar, and business owner, Mike Foley served his country as a Medic in the United States Army and the Ohio National Guard.

Foley is a graduate of Ohio State University and resides in Oakwood with his wife Lisa. They have four adult children - three of them are currently in college and one is gainfully employed.

Clerk Foley enjoys golfing and traveling, and has a newfound love for playing pickleball year-round! He loves his Ohio State Buckeyes, and always roots for his hometown Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.
